Stranger in a strange land. Moved to the USA from Liverpool, UK to marry my sweetheart (Sharon M. on here) back in 2003. I love reading, computers, music, art, history, all things Japanese, anything mentally stimulating. Oh, and Liverpool FC. Liverpoooooool!!!!

Queen, Sabbath, Van Halen, Audioslave, Beatles, Stones, etc. I like pretty much anything except country. Bleuch!!
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:

Mostly non-fiction reading, from Stephen Hawking to Holy Blood, Holy Grail. I'm a fan of the classics and have read everything from Musashi's 'The Book of Five Rings' through to Milton's 'Paradise Lost'. When I want some escapism I have to admit that I love the Harry Potter books (I say HAVE to admit because my lovely wife has already told everyone in her profile that we love the HP books. Git!), Anyone intelligent
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

Aliens, Wicker Man (no, NOT the crappy Nicholas Cage remake), 300, Batman Begins, Shaun of the Dead, Crimson Tide, Leon ('The Professional' to you Americans who the studios decided apparently couldn't be trusted to enjoy a film that didn't have a hard-hitting title), Angels With Dirty Faces, King Kong, most Ealing comedies (Alec Guinness/Alastair Sim type films) and other boy stuff.

Stuff that most people on here probably have never heard of. Bottom, Blackadder, Men Behaving Badly, Jonathan Creek, Two Ronnies, Life on Mars, American Dad, Top Gear.

Scotland, Charleston SC, Paris, Cyprus, NYC, Los Angeles
Interests and Activities:

Not much time for anything these days! I've been known to play guitar, go hiking in the Scottish Highlands and other stuff. That all seems like sooooo long ago now though!

Sharon might have a problem with vitamin K- if that be her legs on the left, but then you would have to know which side left really is?- and if that be your bruise, then hopefully it came from injury and not from a metabolic disorder, but I loved the concept, it is a sensous photograph- none the less.
